You know that the use of smart technologies began long ago, well before LLMs and chatbots were made available to the general public. But where can we find real-world examples of what these tools can achieve beyond simple chat prompts? Not everyone has the time or budget to experiment blindly.

We have gathered typical questions from those interested in implementing smart technologies but who, quite rightly, demand clarity regarding both the results and the resources required. The era of enthusiasts grabbing the first "smart" tool they see in the hope of creating world-changing solutions is over. Thank you, but it is time to consolidate that scattered experience and integrate automation via smart technologies into practical business plans.

Here are the legitimate questions we've received from business leaders:

- "Can you give me a real example of implementation? You talk about 'expert cloning'. Can we actually see how that works?"
- "The press reports massive costs for 'smart projects.' Does that mean they aren't for everyone yet?"
- "How do we find specialists for these projects? If there aren't many actual projects, there must be few true experts. Nowadays, everyone claims to 'know AI' after reading a few articles, but as soon as something goes wrong, they simply vanish."
- "Is there anyone level-headed who can simply explain why my processes are better off automated with smart technologies? And by the way, what options are even out there?"

The fact that these questions are being asked shows a readiness to incorporate smart technologies into strategic business thinking and enterprise transformation plans.

- "Transformation? That sounds like a huge challenge!", you might say.
- "Can we just start with a pilot solution without such heavy commitments?"

Of course. And it can be done in a way that makes the pilot project a benchmark. It will demonstrate how such work sparks employee engagement and creative participation in optimization and modernization, provided that industry analytics and development experience are taken into account.

We have seen significant interest from our partners and decided that the time has come to start a dialogue and write about this.

To be honest, we have been using smart technologies for specific solutions in our projects for a long time. We simply didn't emphasize it. Why? Because:

1. No one cared what it was called; clients weren't dreaming of "changing the world", they just wanted solutions that worked.
2. We found an approach where solutions do not require astronomical budgets, yet remain accurate and reliable.

So, here are our first responses to the demands of an evolving development market:

- Choose the area for smart automation deliberately and dive deep into it.
- Avoid overly generic solutions; stay close to the actual workstation on the factory floor or in the office.
- Don't grab the first smart technology you find. Each tool is best suited for a specific application.
- Personnel must have the right to understand the proposed concept and voice their doubts. The more nuances we uncover, the better.
- The more human cognitive operations and insights we can transfer to the machine, the more meaningful and responsible the resulting decisions will be.
- The better we divide the labor between what the machine does effortlessly (or what only the machine can do) and what only a human can do, the higher the probability of success.
- Do not separate data from its meaning within the business process. Do not dump data into a pile with unclear attribution.

Until the web provides enough explanatory content and implementation roadmaps, it remains important to understand the challenges of adopting smart technologies through real-world examples and case studies from those already requesting these solutions.
